Floyd’s 1921 Restaurant and Catering is looking for talented people to join our tight-knit team! Whether we’re catering to tourists in the summer or locals in the off-season, we are always growing. We’re on the hunt for like-minded, forward thinking foodies who are looking for anything from a summer work experience to full time employment in Morehead City, North Carolina.


Now Hiring – Sous Chef

This full-time, year round position requires a minimum of 3 years experience in all aspects of cooking. Applicants should be creative self-starters with excellent attention to detail. Be ready to thrive in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment.

Now Hiring – Line Cooks

Experience is preferred but not required for this full-time, year round position. Line cooking is perfect for those looking to get their start in the kitchen and learn from Chef Floyd.


Floyd’s is also looking for summer help. Are you spending your summer on The Crystal Coast? Apply to be a part of the team now as a server or member of the catering staff. Applicants should be prepared to work some weekends. Catering staff should be flexible with working events.
