Oktoberfest Beer Dinner Comes to the Floyd’s 1921 Patio
Another beer dinner is coming to Floyd’s 1921 Restaurant in Morehead City. Throughout the year, we invite breweries to our patio to share their lineup of craft brews with you, but this time, we’re shaking things up. Floyd’s is bringing a variety of seasonally-inspired brews together for a beer dinner on the patio alongside a perfectly paired menu from Chef Floyd. Oktoberfest Beer Dinner on the patio starts at 6 pm on Friday, October 14th! Visit or call the restaurant to reserve your tickets for $30.
Sam Adams Oktoberfest: It’s a tradition that’s been around since 1810. Sam Adams Oktoberfest is an absolute classic, blending hearty malts for a deep, smooth flavor with notes of sweet caramel.
5.3% ABV, 16 IBUs
Weihenstephaner Festbier: Embrace the taste of fall. This full-bodied, hoppy lager was brewed for fall festival season, filled with incredibly rich flavor.
5.8% ABV, 26 IBUs
Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest: No two brews are exactly the same. Each year, Sierra Nevada partners with a different German brewer to explore a new approach to the Oktoberfest brew. This year, you can look forward to rich malt complexity and a spicy hop, courtesy of Germany’s Bamberg Brewers.
6.0% ABV, 30 IBUs
Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier: Hello, tongue twister! This golden yellow wheat beer has a surprising banana flavor and clove aroma, pairing perfectly with seafood. And what better way to celebrate – October is National Seafood Month!
5.4% ABV, 14 IBUs
Blind Squirrel Belgian Tripel: Tripel is brewed using a simple malt bill and only a few hop additions. That isn’t to say this brew isn’t complex – people who’ve had the pleasure of trying Tripel have noted hints of raisin, plums, apricots, tangerines, and spice.
9.0% ABV, 34 IBUs
