Go for Gold at the Floyd’s 1921 Patio Olympics

Have you been keeping up with the Olympic trials? Bernard Lagat has sprinted his way into his fifth Olympics, an alternate gymnast on Team USA is from Lumberton, North Carolina, and everyone is looking forward to the stiff competition in Rio! Can’t afford the air fare? No problem. We have a better idea.

This August, Floyd’s 1921 Restaurant in Morehead City is hosting our first ever Patio Olympics, filled with fun games, giveaways and prizes, and the Olympic Games live from Rio playing at the bar. The best part is, you don’t have to be Sam Mikulak on the ripatio olympics 1ngs to make your way onto the leaderboard. Try your hand at Tiki Toss, corn hole, giant Connect 4, and more!

Gabby Douglas couldn’t hold a candle to your life-size Jenga skills. Come showcase your talents as our patio referee determines if you have what it takes to go for gold. Sixteen-year-old Sydney McLaughlin is the youngest US Track Olympian since 1972, but don’t forget, you have to be 21 to drink at the patio bar.

The USA Gymnastics Team is still looking for a team name. Come up with your own to compete as a team and dominate everyone on the patio, or instigate some friendly competition
with your crew and compete separately. The Olympic Games are live on the patio TV screens starting Friday, August 5th. Join us for the Patio Olympics each Saturday, August 13th and 20th, and don’t forget to call ahead to sign up to compete! Watch and play with us all week long for a chance to win fun prizes like a dinner for two and more.
